Join us at Studio 34 as we host Kiln Formed Glass Artist and Author, John Ferrando of Haute Fusion Studio, for a three day intensive class in the Bargello style. John provides in depth instruction to enable each student to design and create one-of-a-kind gallery quality works of art. This workshop provides a comprehensive exploration of techniques and design. Students leave with the ability to recreate the entire process in their own studios.
During this class, participants learn an advanced and unique stringer technique based on John’s popular selling ebook, “Decorative Motifs with Fused Glass”. While creating a number of various undulating designs and patterns with the creative use of glass stringers, participants will also explore color theory, design composition, the use of materials, supplies and equipment, as well as the different types of firing schedules required to create your Motifs. Additional projects using class materials will be taught as time allows. Come be part of the fun while learning an exciting technique. No prior glass fusing required. Some glass and stringer provided. Additional glass may be purchased at class. Glass and tool list will be sent upon registration.
