Enameling: Applying Color to Metal

Want to learn the fundamental techniques behind the ancient art of enameling?  First,  learn to prepare a surface to accept enamels,  how to apply the foundation layer, and several techniques for adding details and embellishments.  You will fire your pieces in the kiln and take home your  finished pieces of enameled art.  Students are provided with all the materials needed to make up to three  pendants or charms, but feel free to bring fired PMC scrap, small stencils, left-over glass seed beads, or other items to use as inspiration and decoration. Materials fee includes choice of  copper blank, unlimited use of enamels, embellishments, and tools.  Please bring a dust mask or purchase from the instructor ($2.00)
