Fusing and Slumping Techniques Series
Learn glass fusing techniques that are simple yet elegant and complex in appearance. This project covers bubble placement and bubble control while creating this stunning functional or decorative square plate or bowl. This class is suitable for those with little or no glass fusing experience. Students may choose irridized glass for special effects or transparent tint for a beautiful look .
Upon completing this class, students may want to explore different techniques and projects in the series. Please request information about Open Studio or click on our home page. Clear glass included . Additional glass may be purchased at class.
Students should bring safety glasses or purchase from the instructor ($5). Please wear or bring closed toe shoes (not sandals).
Level: Introductory. Those with prior glass cutting or fusing experience will find this technique intriguing. Glass cutting is not required, however.
