Get Into Glass: Intermediate Fusing and Slumping Garden Art with Yvonne Fordham

Love your birds,  gardens , glass?   Check out these new projects for experienced glass artists.     First session is a review of glass science, COE,  basic  fusing techniques.  First session project is a beautiful indoor or outdoor  pocket vase.   Second session: what goes on in the kiln when the glass goes in  and circle cutting.   Second class project:  bird bath!

Students provide their own  scoring/cutting tool,   protective eye wear,  and a sturdy box with a top for storage of project pieces.    Tuition includes up to three kiln firings.   Glass  and bird bath hardware are purchased at class.  Materials included in class fee:  assorted color stringers and frit.

No open toe shoes, please.

Level:  Intermediate

Prerequisite: Introduction to Fusing and Slumping,  prior experience,  or permission of the instructor

Date:  April 11 and April 18, 2018    6:00-8:00

Cost:  $75  plus glass
