Part of a series of Fusing and Slumping intermediate classes that can be taken together or separately. Each class provides students with different techniques and projects to choose from.
For intermediate students ready to go beyond beginner level , 202 provides a review of the basics including COE , glass cutting using the Morton System and free hand, and kiln programs.
Projects and techniques: Session one:”coral effect” plate with rim. Session two: 10 inch round bowl with accent strip.
Cost is $125 plus glass purchased in class. Please bring safety glasses, scoring tool and Rubbermaid-type box with top to keep project pieces in between classes. Tuition includes up to 4 kiln firings.
Prerequisite: Introduction to Fusing and Slumping, experience kiln casting/fusing, or permission of the instructor.
