An introduction to the essential process of soldering: the method of joining separate pieces of metal through the application of high heat and an intermediary metal (solder). Learn what different solders are used for. Students use copper for practice . Sterling available for purchase.
This class will work for beginners as well as those with prior experience who may need a refresher to further develop their soldering skills. This is a half day class with lots of hands on practice.
Prerequisite: metal sawing and shaping helpful but not required
