Bezel is one of the popular settings for rings and pendants. In this intermediate class,  students are introduced to the art of creating a custom bezel for a semi precious stone or cabochon.   Students will have had Intro to Metalsmith Basics,  equivalent experience,  or permission of the instructor.       Class includes learning to make your own bezel “wire” from fine or sterling silver,  and an introduction to soldering.     Class fee includes  your choice of a small  semi precious stone. Students may bring their own cabochon stones and have the instructor advise.  If you want to bring your own stone,  please send a photo (from different angles)  prior to class .

Studio 34 is known for our small class size to maximize student learning.  This class is maximum of 3 students only.

Students choose from a half day   or 6  hour intensive program.

Prerequisite:  Into to Metalsmith Basics,  equivalent experience,  or permission of the instructor.

Tuition:

$175/ half day  class

$250/six  hour intensive  program    ( reservation required).
